
NEW DELHI: Muslims will not be singing Vande Mataram as some verses violate the Islam’s faith in Allah is the fatwa released from the Jamiat -e-Ulema-e-Hind by their influential Darul Uloom seminary at Deoband.
The resolution said Muslims are being asserted over the issue as We love our country but cannot harm the status of allah who is the only god worshipped by Muslims… Fatwa released by Darul Uloom is right.
When the home minister P Chidambaram on Tuesday, addressing the Deoband seminary in Uttar Pradesh to attend the annual convention of the Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Hind strongly opposed the decree released against singing vande mataram and homosexuality. The home minister also praised jamiat for also releasing fatwa (decree) on terrorism as killing of innocent people is against mankind. He also criticized the demolition of Babri Masjid and said it was the duty of the majority to look after the minorities.
Also the BJP Vice president Mukhtar Naqvi said fatwa issued on not singing vande mataram should not be made compulsory as the Bankim Chandra Chatterjee’s classic is being immortalized which is unacceptable.
BSP’s Shahid Siddiqi, however, defended the religious seminary. He suggested that Deoband seminary wanted to recommend a national song for Muslims.
The Jamiat also strongly oppose the Delhi High Court role of legalizing gay sex. The Jamiat declares homosexuality is against the natures rule and a relationship between two people of same sex will not contribute to human race.
The Jamiat suggested that their version of Islam is true and correct, should be followed by Muslims organization
